A challenge calling for customisation
Fruehauf came to us with a clear brief: storage boxes that are not only robust and secure, but fully integrated with the design and functionality of their blower trailer. These boxes had to withstand heavy use, brave the British weather, and still complement the trailer’s streamlined design.
They needed to reflect what Fruehauf stands for: durability, reliability, and customisability. That’s music to our ears. With our tailor-made approach, we got stuck into the specifications together with Fruehauf. We brought their engineers and production team into our process, tested ideas for feasibility, and kept the end user, the driver, front and centre throughout.
From idea to execution
We’re incredibly proud of the result: a series of rugged stainless steel boxes from our Europa range, built from tough materials with a sleek matte finish. Strategically placed between the axles and along the trailer’s side to make every centimetre count.
Each box is:
- Precision-engineered to maximise available space;
- Fitted with double or overlapping doors for easy access and added protection from dirt and moisture;
- Equipped with removable internal dividers;
- Designed with a modular layout and clever compartmentalisation so drivers can access tools, materials and PPEs quickly and efficiently.
